Shortly after Trump got elected last year, a guy on the team I played for told me to request a trade from the team because he didn’t want a Muslim on the team. He didn’t care that I was the Captain and led the team in goals and points all while playing as a defensemen.
And this Windsor Star article from two years ago, which also includes some really odd details:
https://windsorstar.com/news/local-n...indsor-student

Quote:
“(Expletive, expletive)! Stop coming to the rink! (Expletive, expletive) Muslim! Go Home! Make Canada Great Again.” The writer scrawled the letters MAGA and MCGA on the note, abbreviations that presumably stand for the slogans, Make America Great Again and Make Canada Great Again.

Javaid said it could be the anonymous writer had mistaken him for someone else since he doesn’t normally go to the arena in Tecumseh. But that doesn’t make the note any less shocking, Javaid said.

The camera on his cellphone broken, the Windsor native said he brought the note home, and took a photo of it with his old phone. He threw the note away, but posted the photo of it on Twitter a couple days later.
Again, all possible. But just the way it adds up and the amount of attention he seems to chase around this instances... I don't know... something seems way off about it all.
