I'm not going to get into a long rant, but basically everyone was expecting to be given more time.
And when I say everyone....I mean 'everyone.'
I understand that the Government couldnt and wouldnt do it. BUt they should have just said so in February. Slips came out late, people had no idea that they needed to claim their CERB, their emergency benefits came out in 2 different slips so some people missed them, banks werent filing investment slips....
Because everyone thought they had more time.
The problem is, I deal with people. Not giant corporations that than can afford penalties and interest and generally dont care, but actual humans. This is their money.
So it basically put a loaded gun to my head to get it all done while everyone around me waited until the very, very last minute.
It was unpleasant.
