The Rush signed Dillon Dube's former junior teammate Leif Mattson. He had a pretty good WHL career. Not a standout player, but a contributor for sure. After a year in university, he played one year in the top professional league in France and finished in the top 10 in scoring. I think he was youngest player within the top 40 or so in scoring in that league.

Doubtful he has NHL upside, but possibly AHL upside. It will be interesting to see how he does in the ECHL just to get context on what level the French professional league is in comparison to the Tier III North American league.
