Why do people keep saying McKenna shouldn't be on this list?

Despite what Eric Francis says in that quoted tweet, McKenna is only signed to an AHL contract. Surprise surprise, Francis was wrong about something and didn't bother to correct it.

As such, he is not Flames' property and could accept an NHL contract from any other team. It's unlikely, but it has happened before.


Either McKenna shouldn't be included or the other players on AHL-only contracts should be included.
