before the third season started, i thought it would end with middle age Jonas turning into Adam, as that was the way everything was pointing too: no free will, an endless cycle etc. So Episode 7 of season 3 is about what i was expecting as the end... Episode 8 really surprised me as a result

So, the origin world was definitely a bit of a deus ex machina, but it was the only way to end the series on a 'happy' manner. It made sense (more or less) i think everything worked (more or less).

Perhaps a few too many coincidences...Like the guy in the carriage being the owner of the pocket watch? some things that didn't need to be tied together...like Silya being Hannah's daughter

ultimately though, i thought it was an amazing series; really complex narrative, great music, amazing cinematography...Happy a show like this even exists.
