Does anyone know how to get water to not "stick" to a windshield or figure out why the wipers aren't properly wiping the windshield?
One of my wipers leaves a 2-3 inch "smear" in a specific spot along the wiper blade. Swapping the wiper helped a little, but not completely. When I used RainX water repellant treatment, the smear got worse rather than better which seemed bizarre.
I'm almost wondering whether there's some oil or wax in that specific spot where the wiper smeared it in the past which is causing the water to "stick". I wonder if I might have to go all out and use something like a buffer or razor blade to try and properly clean off that arc on the windshield.
