As for who they bring in... if I had my pick of guys of that ilk... I'm kind of partial to Brodie. Shoots left, knows a few guys here already, familiar with the city and facility already, has a bit of nostalgic fondness (I think) from the fans.

I watch a lot of Leafs games and 7sed to be a big fan of Brodie when he was a Flame and felt he was underrated at that time, but his game has gone down quite a bit since joining Toronto.
