Just out of curiosity, this is what would the selection order have been based on the actual NHL Lottery.
1. ??
2. Vancouver (LA)
3. Florida (Ottawa from SJS)
4. Carolina (Detroit)
5. Minnesota (Ottawa)
6. Colorado (Anaheim)
7. LA (NJD)
8. Nashville (Sabres)
9 onward ???
CPHL would have needed to either wait until play-ins were done or do their own lottery.
