There's a fun event next weekend if you're interested in racing. The Double Down Criterium Weekend is on Saturday and Sunday. It'd free for spectators. I'll probably stop by for a couple hours with the kids to watch a few of the races.

1565 27 Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8Y2, Canada

The Double Down is a fun, fast-paced weekend of Alberta racing featuring two back-to-back criteriums. Held in the sexy industrial heartlands of Northeast Calgary, this weekend is a great chance to throw down against other racers and show Alberta your mad crit skills.

The main events will be held Saturday and Sunday, with a special Zwift prologue occurring Friday night. There will also be a kids race held at noon on Sunday.

Over $5,000 will be available in cash, swag, and bags! Prizes will be awarded for individual events and the omnium. Not to mention an epic moustache competition!

MAIN EVENTS - Saturday, July 21 & Sunday, July 22

Saturday's 1.9km course features a steady descent, a false flat and a spicy kicker. Sunday's course is 1.2km, flat and fast. Both will be plenty of fun!
