The things they changed mostly were improvements (no more piping, straight fonts), with only one minor change that is a slight downgrade (new style collar lace).

I'm undecided on the new fabric used for the letters. In the photos, it makes them look like cheap heat-press letters. I'll wait until I see them in use before making a final judgement on them.

All-in-all, it's a very slight improvement, but generally not significant enough of a change.

If they made three minor changes, I'd really like them...

Get rid of the lace on the collar
Use the shoulder patch from the thirds instead of the flags
Bottom stripe like the 2003 design and no vertical stripes on the sides
