I think Maestro Fresh Wes was more of a late 80's, about the time when the Flames were going on extended playoff runs. As for the 90's I remember seeing Pure at the Den in 1994, Hayden at the Night Gallery in 1995, Treble Charger opening for 13 Engines at the Republik in 1995, The Rheostatics opening for Tragically Hip in 1996 at the Saddledome, Ashley Macissac & Tragically Hip in Camrose in 1997. I saw I Mother Earth and Red Autumn Fall at the Republik too many times to count during the 1990s. Sloan at Mount Royal, Also Tariq at the Ship & Anchor. Can't remember which bands were there but anyone else remember Snow Job 1994 in Banff. There had to have been a long list of Canadian bands for that one? 54-40? I remember it being a good show and seeing the Goo Goo Dolls there although not Canadian. Still listen to 90s Hayden and pick up his new releases when they come out.
