Remember that Stele was also a Emperor's hand and was investigating corruption and conspiracies in the Empire, that's what made the game cool. You saw the trechery of the Empire itself.
I still remember the coolest thing in that game was when you got into a Tie Defender and just shredded everyone and you had Vader talking in your ear as he was your flight leader.
I agree, a tv series from inside of the Empire would be cool. I would love to see a Imperial Intelligence Agent type of series, I mean not every Imperial was a planet blowing up thug.
Another thing I would love to see is the transition of the Clones to Storm troopers. If Karen Traviss (sp?) didn't focus so much on her master$$$$$$ fantasies about Mandalorians and Boba Fett, she was really onto a great story concept with her Clone trooper stories.
And of course a comedy about mismatched room mates called the Vader and Sheev show, where Palpatine keeps calling Vader Ani and then laughs in his face.
Palpatine - "Hey Ani? What do you call a armless legless jedi?"
Vader - "What my master"
Palpatine - "You you big dummy"
