Aaaaand, this complete and utter nonsense is what I was raised in (dad was a Pentecostal minister). Such clap trap. My mother used to get "the HOOOOOOOLY SPIIIIRIT on her" during grace at supper. Such an utter load of bollocks and let me tell you how difficult it was to not say "oh give me a big fat effing break lady" - pretty much the only thing that stopped me/us was knowing my dad would beat the ever lovin' crap out of me/my siblings if we said anything.
There's 4 of us kids. Not a single one of us are believers/go to church. Gee, can't imagine why.
