The Pens put a lot of work into the roster for the upcoming season with a flurry of trades prior to the deadline.
However we are still open to a few moves to tweak the roster if they make sense.
Trade Block.
Nico Hischier - Penciled in to fight for the #2 C spot with Domi. However a couple of inquires have come in. If the right offer came around he could be moved. The deal would have to make sense long term.
Brady Skjei - penciled in to play with Provorov on the 2nd pairing. Skjei is young and good so would need a lateral type swap to make sense to move him.
Thomas Greiss - we are happy having him onboard to pair with Murray. However he could move in a deal that made sense and provided a decent backup option for this season.
Morgan Frost - would consider trading in a lateral type move for high pick(s)/prospect(s)
We have an excess of high quality goalie prospects. We could move one as piece of a bigger deal or in a prospect/pick swap.
Jacob Lauko- we like this prospect but he is a Bruin so he can go.
Jay O’Brien - went in the 1st round last season #19 overall. Can move for a 2nd.
Open to other deals as well. I’m currently sipping beer and lounging by the pool in Florida so response for the week will be sporadic.
