Yeah I get the feeling that Sutter will stay regardless of the outcome of the season and he will probably have some input on the new GM. Firing Treliving mid-season would be a tough call as someone has to handle the Gaudreau situation although Darryl probably wouldn't be scared to make a bold move from the GM seat and deal him. I would be worried about another shortsighted win-now, quantity over quality type of trade like he did with the Phaneuf trade.
