Meh, I still think Favre has the ability to be a decent starter in this league. After an awful '05 season he looked ready to retire, but he rebounded nicely in '06, and so far has looked decent in the '07 season. No question he's not what he once was, and I agree he's slipped back into the middle of the pack in terms of NFL starters, I dont think that's a shocking statement there. He takes too many chances with the football the last few years(though he's always been a gunslinger), trying to force balls into small windows that he probably shouldnt be, hence why he throws as many picks as he does TD's. And he's kind of gotten on my nerves lately, he seems to have gotten grumpy the past couple years and publicly said some dumb stuff this offseason. But he's still a legitimate starter, and along with that defence(which I think is the real key to that team. The pressure that front seven puts on opposing QB's is insane), so far in this young season the Packers look like they could be a legitimate playoff team in a weak NFC.
