I'm not normally in supplement stores but my understanding was that quite recently ephedrine was severly restricted in Canada. Maybe you can still buy it in small amounts but I'm not sure. A few years back I helped some narcotics officers from around North America with some of these clandestine drug syntheses and they led me to believe that pseudoephedrine was most commonly obtained now. It doesn't really matter either way though, both ephedrine or pseudoephedrine will give you the same meth in the same way. I also second what other people have said in that meth addiction and all the side effects are really awful.
