The hatchet has officially been buried between Mayor Dave Bronconnier and Premier Ed Stelmach with today’s announcement of a 10-year infrastructure funding pact that will pump $3.3 billion back into Calgary.

The package — worth $11.3 billion province-wide — was praised by Bronconnier for cutting bureaucratic strings to deliver 90% of what the city had asked for.
