Well, if they pull you over BEFORE they see the "Class S (Superfast)" status on your licence, they might want to ding you for having the cylinder inside the car, just so they don't feel they've wasted their time.
I'd suggest getting a wood-burning stove instead, I'm pretty sure they sell the car-modified ones at Canadian Tire, but make sure you have your both your licence and drunk driving certification with you, because they have them behind the counter and not just anyone can get one. Also, get a qualified installer to put it in - I did mine myself and the girlfriend always complains when the sparks burn holes in her clothing.
