For me its a point of sadness in remembrence of that horrible day, that I know for most people it shook us to our core.

The images still carry a lot of weight, not as much as a few years ago but I do find myself feeling some anger now, even more so than sadness.

I'm sad to see what unified a nation and the west has turned into something sad. I'm angry to see people with an agenda using the names of those people who died to evoke support to their agenda's.

I am most of all as an athiest very disturbed at the increase in religious zealotry in the big montheistic religions after 9/11.

The compassion, the togetherness we all felt after that day was something quite amazing. Feeling solidarity, I will miss that deeply.

Now those feelings have been destroyed with political agenda's, religious agendas.. The world seems more fractured than its ever been, all the while fanatacism is sharply on the incline in muslim and western nations.

I'm sad for what we did after 9/11, and if I hear another polititian use 9/11 further their own less than honourable agenda's I will scream.
