Yeah I love playing Strogg for the Icarus.. nothing like mobility!
I was playing earlier as the field ops, and decided that the GDF just wasn't going to get to deploy any of their own field ops stuff.. with the Icarus, violator, my own artillery, I basically made their entire team switch away from field ops!
They got a few rounds off a few times, but I basically followed the helicopters around and denied them any artillery support.
The Obliterator with the Icarus is great too, take out the deployables at key moments.
