New Orleans Saints: 11-5

NFL's #1 offence statistically from '06 looks even stronger with TE Eric Johnson and more receiver depth with WR's David Patten, Robert Meachem(though he really struggled in OTA's and TC with weight problems, injuries and overall disappointing play) and the sudden drastically improved play of Lance Moore. Overall in pre-season Brees went 35 of 39 passing and already looks like an MVP candidate.

The D is still prone to allowing big plays both through the air and on the ground, but I think CB Jason David will be an upgrade on Fred Thomas at the #2 spot. ILB Brian Simmons also provides solid depth at LB, and I'm interested to see how S Roman Harper has healed, he seemed to be progressing as a rookie every week last year until his injury in week 6.

Over-all, an explosive offence and an improved(but still soft) defence should be enough to land the Saints a second consecutive NFC South crown. I really dont see who else would take it in that division, unless Carolina finally starts to play up to previous expectations for a change. They are the only real threat to the Saints in the south, but I like New Orleans to win the division and be a top contender to come out of the NFC.
