I've done this sort of thing many, many times. I don't have a speech for you because that needs to be personal. Keep it short, clean and to the point. No mindless rambling. Speak from the heart. Be genuine. No jokes you wouldn't tell your grandmother. Give it some thought and write down what you want to say. Don't read it, but you may have point-form notes to work from. Not reading it keeps your eyes upward on the audience instead of down on some piece of paper. Speak slowly and relax. Remember that people will remember what you say for years. If it's great, you'll be a hero. I remember my brother's wedding where the bride's bro did this and screwed up royally and 25 years later it's the only thing I really remember from their reception. You don't want to be a bad memory from their wedding. I'd sit down at your computer and start writing it out. Keep it short. Two minutes max. Have fun with it.
