Wierd, I thought I was in a courtroom with all these judges around...
Its one thing to believe this was a reprehensible act, and that the guy should be held responsibe. Its another to wish rape (see above) and illegal punishment on the guy. This is eye for an eye crap. Surely we've evolved our sense of the 'law' to avoid this type of shoot-from-the-hip justice and judgement. Or have we? :unsure:

Easy to say when you're not the one with a dead wife/husband/parent. Just try to imagine it from the victims families standpoint.

I hear you. We've all lost relatives, we all know the pain of losing loved ones.
That being said, there's an excellent reason why those affected by the crime are not those meting out the punishment. When you lose objectivity, justice tends to go with it.

Good point. I just have a hard time worrying about this guy getting fair treatment when he can't even kill himself properly. I mean, c'mon, how hard is it? No need to take others with you.

Thats the truth. I can't for the life of me understand why you'd pick _that_ way to commit suicide, esp. when considering you're killing others.
