I hate to say this, but I think around $500 would be lucky. The problem with any CRT projection TV; including a late model like yours is that it will almost do HD, but like the report you quoted says, it cannot handle a 720p signal.

I had a CRT projection that I ended up giving away to a buddy; because I knew I wouldn't get more than a few hundred dollars for it, and if I was going to get screwed over on the price; I may as well like the person doing it. (Plus at the time my buddy's TV had just died, so I became the "hero" in his house- it's a good feeling.)
