It has happened to me and something about my incident made me to come to a realization. Some people just don't think it's a big deal and that sucks.
I was walking back to my car about a year ago, and I see a woman getting out of the passenger door beside my car. She swings her door open wildly and nails my car, leaving a nice sized dent in the door. So I look at her to see her reaction, now that she knows it's my car, and she looks at me, laughs, and says "good thing cars are meant to be banged up", and then walks away. She was an older lady, so held in my frustration and just stared her down as she and her husband walked away like nothing had happened.
