Kind of a selfish move on Eric's part. Though with each passing week his odds are increasing, he doesn't stand a really good chance of winning it all. However, if he plays his cards right he has the chance to score way over his head. Money comes and money goes, but having a shot with a really really hot chick is something most nerds will never experience.
