So here I am about four weeks away before I sit down with all the suppliers to pick and choose appliances, flooring, lighting, etc. for my new home that I am building.

For those of you with experience building a new home what should I look for? Any secrets to how I can save a couple of bucks?

So far I have heard if shop around for appliances I can take the best qoute to the supplier (Trail Appliances) and they will match or beat the offer... is that true?

Any help would be appreciated!
