Memory 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 4 DIMMs
Video Cards 768MB nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX
Hard Drive 500GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache™
Floppy Drive and Media Reader 13 in 1 Media Card Reader
Operating System Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium Edition
The computer came out to around $1800 without a monitor (I like the look of the 22' Samsumg LCD better then the Dell monitors).
I'm having a really tough time deciding which graphics card to get. The system comes with a 256MB nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS. The only upgrade option is a 768MB nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX for an extra $350! I was hoping to get a 512MB graphics card for an extra $150-$200, but Dell doesn't have any. Is the 256MB good enough to play the new high end games or should I suck it up and dish out the extra money for the 768MB graphics card? I don't want to spend the extra money if it's not necessary.

Wow that seems like a lot without a monitor. Also for the quads you should try to get the DDR2 PC2-8500 ram that run at 1066mhz. 2 gigs is only $169 at mem express.
The new samsung monitor is awesome. the 2206BW. I love the glossy black.
