Looking for a good Gym DT
Hey all...I am looking to join a fitness club to attempt to get back into some semblance of shape. I live down on 14th ave and 7 st sw and dont own a vehicle so I need something fairly close.
I am close right now to join the Talismen Centre, but I just wanted to get some feedback....how do the facilities compare to other gyms in the area? I have also looked into Heavens, it is a bit pricey and that place seems to be more geared to class's where as I am looking for a large fitness centre, lots of free weights, lots of benches, lots of cardio equipment. I also really would like a Sauna, pool could be nice, but not needed.
I know there are a few other gyms in the area, can anyone recommend anything? BTW Cost is not a huge issue if I can find a place that provided everything I need and is within reasonable walking distance.
