I only want the western part, with the ski areas, the cowboys, and the right wingers. They're the only good parts of Canada.

My political views are slightly to the right, but this woman is just nuts. At my most right wing of moments I couldn't have concieved of a person (even if she's more of just a character by now) that would have these types of beliefs. Wow.
Anyway, that link is just a page of quotes that I thought some of us might get a kick out of reading. I'm sure some interesting discussions will come out of it. What's the best way to get these discussions going? Ummm, read the page, pick a quote of hers, and describe why you like it (agree, disagree, laughed your keester off...).
Here is mine:
We are simultaneously supposed to gasp in awe at teachers' raw dedication and be forced to listen to their incessant caterwauling about how they don't make enough money. Well, which is it? Are they dedicated to teaching tomorrow's future or are they in it for the money? After all the carpiing about how little teachers are paid, if someone enters the teaching procession for the big bucks, aren't they too stupid to be teaching our kids? As if it's immoral for somebody to want to teach the children and be able to afford to put hot dogs in their Western Family Mac and Cheese.
