Hmmm, not sure what to think in reading the article. There`s nothing wrong with asking for a definitive determination of the order of death when it affects an inheritance. It may even be prudent to ask these questions now rather than in a few months. If the decision comes out that the wife died first and the mother-in-law drops any claim at that point, no problem. But from reading the article, I just have a hunch that this is just a preliminary step and it will probably turn into an ugly tooth-and-nail struggle. Could she file a civil suit against Benoit's estate and collect damages from him that way (similar to in the OJ case, but with the accused being dead)?
