It's just crazy to me that at this point they don't question McDavid's supposed greatness in the media. The guy doesn't win. He has all the talent in the world, but he doesn't put the team on his back - he doesn't force the team to compete the way a guy like Crosby is able to. Crosby's greatness transcends skill - it's about his impact as a leader, his ability to rise to the occasion when the game is on the line - and to bring his team with him. McDavid is just a better Pavel Bure in my mind - super high skill, and nothing else - which is fine, but no one allowed him to be just that - he always had to be the next Crosby. Let him be the most skilled player to play the game - but he doesn't have greatness the way a Crosby, or a Michael Jordan has.
