Im with ya, let's get rid of big corporate bonuses too. He's your wage, expect x, nothing more. But, in all seriousness, I don't know if people would work a service industry without tips unless wages were quite a bit higher, like $25-30/hr. Then we would pay an additional, and mandatory 15-20% more on the menu. So.....
Having lived in Europe for a couple of years, I really appreciate tip/hustle culture. Rather than having to track down a server to order food, or go to the bar to order your next item.
