Other than Vancouver, none of the 4 teams we are in contention with are garbage teams.
All 4, plus the Flames, are playing at a .500 or better rate in their last 10 games.
The Blues have lost 1 game in their last 10, getting 16 points.
Only the Hawks have the same 10 points as us, the other teams have gained on us.
So, over the last 10 games, the Flames have only helped their tank. The last 3 game win streak notwithstanding.
No one, other than the Canucks, are racing to the bottom. At this stage, those 5 teams are chugging somewhat up the standings to some extent. And the Sharks, Kracken and Leafs may soon join the race.
