The changes to the UCL format have really made the knockouts in UEL weaker. With those third place teams in UCL no longer dropping down into the UEL it takes out a few more teams who could win UEL. So yeah English teams are likely to be the beneficiaries. I mean two years in a row we have a relegation level team from England into the QFs. Speaking of which, now we all rally behind Forest with the UCL in the Championship back on the menu.
