My bet is that he plays next season in Quinnipiac and signs with the Flames and burns a year of the ELC. Kind of a perfect middle ground that grants him some more time to develop physically, another shot at a championship/Hobey Baker, WJC, and he gets a taste at the end of the season with as good a chance as possible to make the team for the new building
