Again, a huge contributing factor to why Twitter never caught on with me. Curation isn't the problem, I've curated the hell out of my Instagram so I see dogs, cats, and cars and that's basically it. Facebook, I've got my various brand/model-specific owner / DIY car groups and nothing else, thanks to unfollowing virtually everyone and blocking anything that upsets my zen. But long-form discussion and being able to have a coherent thread to follow is useful.
It's just the suckiest format and platform. Scream your 280 characters into the digital sky and wait for a response. It's like the crackheads in the Beltline yelling at a person who isn't there but for internet folk. There we go, that's what it is: internet crackheads.
