Think about what will happen if someone turns on to that road early that morning The guy having fun isn't going to have enough time to stop, and as a result he kills himself and the other driver.
Or a deer decides to dart out of the ditch.
The thing is, there are no gaurentees that other drivers won't be on the road at that time.
