I have no issue with Parekh sitting out a game, but I also thought he was fine last night. He is much better than what his reputation says it is, and I think it will take a bit of time for the narrative about him to catch up to what he really is. He is trending to be much more like Makar/Hughes than Karlsson/Bouchard, and that's very encouraging for people like me who much prefer the former types.


What I do notice is that he needs work on his accerlation/straight-line speed. He is dazzling on his edges, however.


Hopefully the Wranglers make the playoffs and at least have Gridin and Brzustewicz play important minutes down there. I really think Gridin is going to pop. Brzustewicz also needs to work on his speed, but otherwise I felt he was consistently good considering his age and experience. I would like to see him back in action soon.
