Just a quick question - I just purchased a condo, and posession is almost a week away. I talked to my lawyer a couple of weeks ago, and he was saying that his fees would be around $1200...today, I found out that the cost will be substancially more than that (finding this out through my realtor...lawyer hasn't called, and I haven't been able to get a hold of him either). I'm wondering if the $1200 originally quoted was way too low to believe? What is the typical amount to be paid when buying? etc.
