I agree with that point, which is also made by the police, but whose saying these guys are just ripping down some road the first time they've been on it. It would only take a drive by or two to check the road conditions out for safety. There are isolated roads in good condition.
I'm not saying people should be allowed to do this, but if done in a relatively responsible manner the risk to others and themselves needn't be that high.
