Calgary does have a track, but these cars wouldn't be allowed to race there. I beleive if your car can do the strip in under 11 seconds, you need a roll cage and other safety equipment. I'm thinking that these cars may need some modification before they are allowed at race city.

I'm no IHRA rules master here, but I think if your car is unmodified and can go that fast from the factory then you are Ok to go without said equipment.
I'm someone can dig throught the rules for us.
