Kadri will be worth less the more he ages. I heard the same arguments last year when I wanted him traded last deadline. Now he is worth less and he will be worth less next year.
At the same time, keeping both hurts the tank. They definitely need to trade at minimum Kadri, but hopefully both today.
If not, people can have their own opinions but I would consider it a failure for sure.
