I'm so thrilled we ended up with Bahl from the Markstrom trade. Yeah he wasn't completely established as an NHLer yet so people were a little skeptical, but he's already turned into such a high-end defender, and he's not even done rounding out his game yet and is only just entering his prime. He's got a bit of Regehr in him, and replaces a lot of what was lost when we had to move on from Tanev. To find a top pair defensive d-man for a Markstrom that was quickly aging out was fantastic work. Oh, and Reschny with the first rounder makes it twice as much of a home run.
