Fair enough. I've never been to Buffalo but have been to St. Louis. St. Louis was very grimy in large parts. However, it also had a friendly vibe in a lot of places, with a Southern type charm. There seemed to be a focus on community and culture there, even though it wasn't the most affluent city. I guess Buffalo is more like Detroit and St. Louis more like Chicago?
