The better of the two 1st round picks (Sharks or Oilers) is the start but I don't think San Jose will want to part with any of their top prospects.

Cagnoni and Havelid along with the better of the two firsts would probably be about the same value that Buffalo offered. Better pick, and splitting the difference in prospects between to very good ones instead of one better one.
Anaheim and LA can't touch the back end prospect depth of SJ. Could probably swap in Wallenius or Wang dependent on preference.
