There are reports in Israeli media that Kurdish forces in Iraq are mounting a ground offensive into Iran. These reports are citing an Iranian-Kurdish official for whatever that is worth. Reports say thousands of Kurdish soldiers involved. The report is from I24 news

I read speculation before all of this kicked off that the CIA may have been supplying the Iraqi Kurds with weapons for a potential war with Iran. All this information is very hard to confirm given the internet blackout, the fog of war is very much in full effect but here is the CNN article from yesterday that talks about the reports of CIA backing Kurdish forces.
