I think the Flames still finish 2nd last in the NHL this season even if they don't trade anyone out. They have the toughest (by far!) remaining schedule for anyone at the bottom, and currently sit exactly 2 points out of 2nd last place.
Trading Kadri + Coleman + something would probably give Vancouver a fight down the stretch, though unlikely based on the gap in points.
