I was debating heavily between this and a Steam Deck, but for this being half the price and able to fit in a pocket makes me very glad I went with Retroid instead. And thanks to GameNative, an open source Windows game emulator, I can play a ton of the indie games I have on Steam with it, so it's like a Steam Deck mini
One tip I would have for anyone interested in a RP6, buy the silicon grip that they sell for it. It's only $10 extra and it makes it so much more comfortable to hold for longer play sessions. Also ditch the Retroid launcher that it comes with and use Daijisho instead, it's a great frontend for your game library will still being a fully functional Android launcher

I'm a fan of GameNative. It works with a lot more games than GameHub or Winlator.
I use the ES-DE launcher on everything but I've heard good things about Daijisho too. Cocoon is getting a lot of praise as well.
I'm glad you like the RP6. I'm happy with my Flip2 and I'm still waiting to get a Thor. I'm hoping prices don't go up again before the next preorder ships.
